Could daddy’s little girl get better?
Cross Creek was a miracle for our family. My daughter, Kristin, was on the road to self destruction and taking her father down with her. That was Daddy’s Little Girl and she was not behaving the way she should have been. He was an emotional wreck and she was enjoying watching the things she did to him. She was going to parties, getting drunk, having sex, doing drugs, running around at all hours of the night, with no concern for herself or anyone else. She loved to play mind games with all of the therapist I sent her to here. She was a very confused young lady. At age 15 she started cutting on herself. Once a week I would search her room to look for knives missing from the kitchen( i kept count). Her diary was full of terrible pictures, recollections of her daily events and how much she hated her family, even suicide attempts. She even told people in her school that we were not her parents, we were her Aunt and Uncle. Her mother was dead and her father in prison, for raping her and her friends. Kristin was tearing our family apart. Calling Cross Creek and getting her into this program was the best thing. It was the hardest thing we ever had to do. She hated us at first for putting her there, however, she will tell you today that it was the best thing we ever did for her. She could not play mind games with her family rep or her therapist at Cross Creek. They had seen her kind before. She learned to love herself for who she was, not who she thought she was. She also learned to appreciate the small things in life and that even if you arent the most popular kid in school, you are still important. We all learned from the seminars. At first I thought they were not going to affect me, I was wrong. The seminars are very moving and really help with the emotion roller coaster. Kristin completed the program at Cross Creek even though she had turned 18. She has grown into a strong young woman. Today she works with myself, her father and brother at our family business. She is truly drug and alcohol free. This would not have been possible prior to Cross Creek. The Cross Creek Program is the most powerful system that I know of. The staff is truely concerned about your family and its success. Our family today is a wholesome family, no one is allowed to play the victim anymore.
